Protocols for Medical Professionals
BLS Protocol (Adult CPR): Maintain a compression depth of 2-2.4 inches (5-6 cm) at a rate of 100-120 bpm. Ratio is 30:2.
Airway Management: Ensure head-tilt, chin-lift unless a spinal injury is suspected (use jaw-thrust in suspected trauma).
Defibrillation (AED): Analyze rhythm immediately upon AED arrival. Clear the patient before shocking VF/Pulseless VT.
